STCC seeks applicants for the position of Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Adjunct Faculty. Working under the supervision of the MLT Department Chair and Dean of the School of Health and Patient Simulation, this role involves planning and delivering instruction, assessing student performance, and supporting student success. Candidates must be competent in clinical laboratory science practice, have documented expertise, and be knowledgeable in various content delivery methods, including distance learning.
The adjunct faculty will collaborate with MLT and other health faculty to create interdisciplinary teaching opportunities. Responsibilities include advising and college service duties as per the MCCC/MTA Collective Bargaining Agreement. Candidates must be nationally certified with a current ASCP-BOC or ASCPi-BOC generalist certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist in Massachusetts.
