Job summary

Manhattan University’s Mechanical Engineering Department in the School of Engineering seeks qualified adjunct faculty to teach in its undergraduate Bachelor of Science programs. Courses may be offered during daytime or evening hours, and instruction is expected to be delivered in person on campus.

Responsibilities include teaching courses and laboratories, delivering assignments and assessments, maintaining regular communication with students, and offering office hours.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related STEM discipline required.
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field preferred; prior teaching experience and/or professional engineering practice strongly preferred.

Supplemental Information
Salary Range Based on Experience:
  • Instructor $1477.28 per credit
  • Assistant Professor $1526.25 per credit
  • Associate Professor $1575.65 per credit
  • Professor $1625.04 per credit
