Alcorn State University seeks an Adjunct Instructor to teach courses in a flexible online/on-site format from its Lorman, MS campus. The role focuses on teaching, supervision, and student advising, with a strong emphasis on learning-centered instruction and outcome assessments.
Minimum qualifications include a terminal degree in Business or a Master's with 18 graduate credits in relevant disciplines; university teaching experience is preferred.

Terminal degree in Business or Master's degree with 18 graduatecredits in one or more of the disciplines (Accounting, Finance,Management, Marketing, Management Science)
At least one year teaching experience at the universitylevel.
Knowledge and ability to teach courses online, synchronous as wellas asynchronous; use of Canvas, knowledge of the subject, skill indelivering required knowledge and ability to engender learning instudents.
Working knowledge of common learning management systems such asBanner and Canvas
Communication skills: Clearly conveys information and ideas toothers both verbally and in writing.
Interpersonal Effectiveness: Facilitates student success by settinggoals and motivating students to achieve them, handles conflict ina constructive manner.
Student Focused: Creates and/or implements student-focusedprocesses or procedures.
Professionalism: Participates in all activities in a collegial,ethical and responsible manner.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret academic material such astextbooks and journals
Ability to respond to inquiries from students, staff andadministration in a timely manner as stipulated.
