Job Description
The Department of Philosophy & Religious Studies invitesapplicants for part-time adjunct instructional faculty to teachcourses within the fields of Philosophy or Religious Studies. Wehave the most need for in-person classes on the Norfolk campus forgeneral education courses taught within the department as well as8-week online asynchronous classes in courses, such as Bioethics,Cybersecurity Ethics, Business Ethics, and popular generaleducation courses, such as REL 147: Cults and Conspiracies. Thispost will remain open for applications as opportunities arisethroughout the 2026-27 academic year, and beyond.

M.A. or Ph.D. in Philosophy or Religious Studies or an M.A. orPh.D. in a related field with a minimum of 18 hours graduatecredits in Philosophy or Religious Studies courses.
