South University invites applications for a campus-based nursing faculty role in Florida. Instruct and facilitate meaningful learning of course outcomes in the curriculum and support all facets of the learning environment.

This position is not remote; you will contribute to the campus community, uphold the university's commitment to diversity, and participate in curriculum and events while promoting student success and professional development.

Competenze

• DNP or PhD in Nursing.
• One to five years’ experience in instruction or formalized education, preferably in a post-secondary or college institution.
• Experience as an FNP is strongly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to build successful relationships with student populations.
• Outstanding conflict resolution skills.
• Demonstrated time management and detail-oriented skills.
• Computer based skills (i.e., software, analytical, and report writing skills).

POSITION SUMMARY:

Instruct and facilitate meaningful learning of the course outcomesin the curriculum and proactively support all facets of thelearning environment. Provide education through learning-centeredinstruction that will enable graduates to fulfill the evolvingneeds of the marketplace. Encourage a culture of learning thatvalues mutual responsibility and respect, life-long learning,diversity, and ethics as well as personal and professionaldevelopment. Assure that the South University philosophy of qualityservice to students, development, growth, involvement, andrecognition of employees, and an environment conducive toinnovation, positive thinking, and expansion is considered incarrying out the duties and responsibilities of this position.Participate in activities that promote the stature of the academicprograms, departments, and colleges and abide by the SouthUniversity Board of Trustees and administration mandates.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The following duties are representative of the essentialresponsibilities of this position. Additional duties may beassigned.

REQUIRED QULIFICATIONS:

Education:

• DNP or PhD in Nursing

Experience:
