Responsibilities
- Cover program and course learning outcomes in the College for Financial Planning materials, ensuring instruction is at the appropriate level.

- Maintain open communication, respond promptly, and provide constructive feedback. Refer students with questions to appropriate departments.
- Keep informed of course schedules, class changes, technological updates, and curriculum adjustments through regular communication with the College.
- Be aware of interactions with students, avoiding conflicts of interest or situations that may appear as such.
- Complete other duties as assigned by deans, chairs, or program coordinators.

Job Description
Instructors are responsible for delivering CFP education courses, serving as subject matter experts and student advocates, providing exceptional classroom experiences. Kaplan supplies the content; instructors deliver it compellingly. The goal is for students to pass the CFP exam on the first attempt and become better financial planners.
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver program and course learning outcomes effectively.
- Employ pedagogical best practices to foster engaging learning and critical thinking.
- Remain updated on relevant trends, techniques, and technology.
- Create engaging educational experiences.
- Participate in ongoing training and development.
- Show respect and set expectations for respectful discourse.
- Maintain open communication with students and staff, providing timely feedback and referrals as needed.
- Stay informed of course logistics and curriculum updates.
- Ensure interactions with students are appropriate and free of conflicts of interest.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Terminal degree with 18 graduate credits in the discipline OR a master's degree with 18 graduate credits, plus five years of financial services experience, and at least two of the following:
- Relevant certifications/licensures (e.g., CFP)
- Related publications, presentations, or intellectual works
- At least 200 teaching hours with evidence of excellence via evaluations, awards, or student letters

Salary: approximately $3K per course, dependent on education and experience.
