Position Summary:
The Brennan School of Business at Dominican University invites applications for a part-time Adjunct Faculty position to teach the following:
Course Dates: August 25, 2025 – December 12, 2025
Delivery Mode: Online asynchronous, but office hours are required in-person at Dominican University
The course is a core requirement for all undergraduate finance majors. The Adjunct Faculty member will report to the Department Chair of Accounting, Finance, and Entrepreneurship.
Course Description
This course is designed to provide students with a framework for formulating, building, managing, and growing a new business venture in an international context. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to assess what constitutes a feasible international entrepreneurial opportunity, develop production, operations, or application activities in an international context, and effectively plan/execute managerial functions in a multicultural environment. Students will end this course with a practical understanding of how to conduct business in a global economy. The course curriculum is practice-oriented and consists of class lectures, case study analysis, group projects, and discussion sessions. Guest speakers from leading international companies are a key component of this class. Students are strongly encouraged to complete MGMT 197 before enrolling in this course. Prerequisite(s): ENTR 297
