Position Summary:
The Brennan School of Business at Dominican University invites applications for a part-time Adjunct Faculty position to teach the following:
Course Number: QUAN 201: Business Statistics
Course Dates: August 25, 2025 – December 12, 2025
Delivery Mode: Online asynchronous, but office hours are required in-person at Dominican University
The course is a core requirement for all undergraduate business students. The Adjunct Faculty member will report to the Department Chair of Economics, Law, and Ethics.
Course Description
An introduction to basic concepts and procedures, including measures of central tendency and variability, probability, sampling distributions, hypothesis testing, correlation and regression, and nonparametric methods. May not be taken for credit by students who previously completed ECON 260. Prerequisites: Completion of the Math Foundation. Recommended: MATH 130, MATH 170, CIS 120. This course will satisfy the core area requirement in quantitative literacy.
