Job summary

Job Description

Position: Adjunct Faculty – Educational Studies (26000417) in the Business and Professional Studies Division.

Location: Haverhill campus- 100 Elliott Street or Lawrence campus- 45 Franklin Street. During the Summer of 2026, teach Introduction to Teaching (EDU101) and other Education/CTE courses on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities
  • Teach assigned courses in accordance with the Academic Catalog and departmental learning outcomes.
  • Comply with NECC policies and the MCCC contract, including grading, deadlines, evaluations, and syllabus requirements.
Qualifications (Required)
  • Master’s degree in Education or a related field.
  • Experience teaching a related discipline at the college level.
  • Experience using technology for instruction and assessment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior community‑college teaching experience.
  • Experience with online, hybrid, and experiential learning.
  • Experience with the Brightspace Learning Management System.
  • Experience supporting a culturally diverse population.

Additional Information
  • Salary: $1,512.00 to $1,826.00 per credit, based on DCE step, non-benefited.
