Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Special Education, Exceptional Student Education, Educational Psychology, Curriculum and Instruction, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Experience teaching or supporting students with disabilities in EC-12 settings or higher education teaching in special education.
• Knowledge of special education assessment, instruction, and IEP development practices.
• Demonstrated professional expertise in special education.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in special education as part of the EC-12 prep program.
• Deliver content using effective instructional practices for face-to-face, online, or hybrid formats.
• Develop syllabi, assessments, and instructional resources aligned with program expectations.
• Provide timely feedback and maintain accurate student records and grades.
• Support teacher candidates in meeting certification requirements and collaborate with partners.
