Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Special Education or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated professional expertise in special education.
• Experience teaching or supporting students with disabilities in EC–12 settings or higher education.
• Knowledge of assessment, instruction, and IEP development practices in special education.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in special education per approved descriptions.
• Deliver content in face-to-face, online, hybrid formats.
• Develop syllabi, assessments, and instructional resources.
• Provide timely feedback and maintain accurate grades.
• Create a supportive learning environment promoting student success.
• Collaborate with CEHD faculty, staff, supervisors, and partners.
• Participate in meetings and professional development.
• Communicate progress with the program coordinator.
