Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach Earth Science courses. The role involves developing a course syllabus, maintaining attendance and grading, and delivering instruction via Canvas and Zoom as needed.
Qualified candidates hold a master’s or higher in physical sciences with at least 18 graduate hours in the field and will work daytime, evening, and weekend schedules. This is a part-time adjunct appointment in Indiana.
Adjunct Faculty positions are temporary; part-time positions are hired each semester on an as‑needed basis. The adjunct faculty member will be responsible for creating a learning environment that assists students in reaching their goals and for providing effective instruction and assessment within the framework of common syllabi the Division provides.
Pay: $47.35 per contact hour
Hours: daytime, evening, and weekend classes - depending on course schedule
A qualified faculty member in physical science possesses an earned master's or higher degree, from a regionally accredited institution, with 18 graduate semester hours in the physical sciences.
