Ivy Tech Community College invites qualified adjunct faculty to contribute to the School of Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering & Applied Science. You will deliver assigned classes, prepare syllabi and assessments, and maintain student records while applying college policies.
Role emphasizes engaging teaching methods, professional interaction with students and staff, and adherence to safety procedures in classrooms and labs.
Adjunct Faculty are hired each semester on an as-needed basis. Adjunct Faculty are responsible for creating a learning environment that assists students in reaching their goals; and for providing effective instruction and assessment within the framework of common syllabi provided.
A qualified adjunct faculty member, including Dual Credit, Workforce Alignment, and a full-time faculty teaching outside their discipline, meets the technical course standard through one of four routes:
