Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Avionics, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Associate degree with significant industry experience may be considered.
• Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification, as well as relevant avionics certifications, are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on laboratory experiences that accompany classroom instruction.

The Adjunct Faculty in Avionics will be responsible for teaching courses in avionics technology, including aircraft electrical systems, communications, navigation systems, and troubleshooting techniques. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of avionics principles and a track record of using their knowledge to foster student achievement.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach theoretical and practical components of the avionics curriculum to prepare students for industry certifications.
• Facilitate hands‑on laboratory experiences that complement classroom instruction and enhance student understanding of avionics systems.
• Maintain current knowledge in avionics technologies and integrate this knowledge into course content to keep the curriculum relevant.

Experience
