Job description

Adjunct Faculty within the College of Professional Studies (CPS) are critical to the success of UNE’s online programs. The role of the faculty in CPS is to facilitate the learning process for online students through timely and effective mentorship, tutoring, instruction and communication. The adjunct faculty- Advanced Content Student Support, facilitates the retention of students through a variety of modalities in specific content area(s) including but not limited to:

1. acting as in-course support for primary faculty,
2. working with students on content area tutoring and remediation in the area(s) of the faculty’s expertise,
3. assisting with career readiness initiatives,
4. professional coaching, and
5. supporting learners at a variety of levels, allowing for students to derive the maximum benefits from the program in which they are enrolled.

The adjunct faculty- Advanced Content Student Support will receive supervision, collaboration, and guidance from the program area(s) to which they are assigned.
