Job summary

Jersey College’s Ewing Campus invites applications for an Adjunct Ethics Instructor to support the Nursing Program in Ewing, NJ. The role involves teaching ethics to RN/PN students, preparing progress and grade reports, and maintaining attendance records.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in the teaching discipline with 15 semester hours (or 23 quarter hours) and a Master’s degree is preferred; prior teaching experience is welcome but not required. This is a part-time adjunct position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 15 semester hours or 23 quarter hours in the teaching discipline from an accredited school.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Prior teaching experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Preparing student progress reports and grade reports
• Maintaining accurate and timely attendance records
• Evaluating student competence based on program philosophy and objectives
• Implementing evaluation devices of student learning and clinical experience to measure progress and competency
• Attending faculty meetings
• Maintaining professional qualifications through participation in continuing education programs, in-service training, and academic courses
• Perform other duties as required by the program director, program dean, or campus administration
