Qualifications
- Master's degree in English or related discipline with 18 graduate credits in English.
- Experience teaching composition and literature across in-person and online formats.
- Ability to develop and revise curricula to meet course objectives.
- Strong classroom management and student advising skills.
- Desirable bilingual abilities: English/Spanish or English/Arabic.
Responsibilities
- Prepare for and deliver instruction and related teaching activities.
- Manage the classroom and laboratory environments.
- Develop and revise curriculum to maintain effectiveness.
- Assess student performance and advise on academic issues.
- Engage with advisory committees and department activities.
- Collaborate to recruit and retain students and market MATC.
- Maintain certification and stay current in the field.
