Job summary

CCBC in Dundalk, MD seeks an Adjunct Dentist Faculty – Clinical/Laboratory to provide high-quality instructional support for the Dental Hygiene program. You will supervise students, evaluate performance, and ensure patient safety while adhering to CODA standards and Maryland regulations.

Responsibilities include delivering clinical and laboratory instruction, reviewing treatment plans, and guiding student decision-making.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution.
• CODA-accredited dental program graduate.
• Current Maryland dental license in active status or eligibility.
• Minimum of two years of clinical dental practice experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification for Healthcare Providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and/or laboratory instruction per course objectives and CODA standards.
• Supervise and evaluate student performance and progress.
• Ensure safe, ethical, and effective patient care delivery.
• Review treatment plans, radiographs, and referrals requiring dentist supervision.
• Guide students in clinical decision-making and pharmacology.
• Maintain communication with program leadership regarding student success.
