Job summary

Grand Canyon University invites applications for a part-time adjunct faculty member to teach Cybersecurity and Ethical Hacking at the Phoenix campus for Spring 2027 (01/04/2027 – 04/23/2027).

The position is onsite in Phoenix, AZ, with in-person course delivery on the GCU Traditional Campus. Faculty will lead lectures, facilitate discussions, and mentor students toward hands-on security competencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or cybersecurity
• 10+ years of experience designing or implementing security infrastructures, assessments, or risk analysis
• Experience mentoring students and delivering security-focused content

Responsibilities

• Facilitate classroom lectures and discussions related to course objectives
• Support student engagement with course topics and learning goals
• Assess student performance and mentor success within the classroom setting
• Uphold the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission
