Job summary

Brigham Young University in Utah seeks an adjunct instructor to teach CFM 220 - Methods 2: Building Systems for Winter 2027. The in-person course meets Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 8:00–9:00 AM.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's (or PhD) in Construction Management or related field, has at least 5 years in MEP/building systems, and will mentor students, prepare materials, and evaluate exams. Relocation to Utah is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree (or PhD) in Construction Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Degree must be completed by the start date.

Responsibilities

• Teach CFM 220 - Methods 2: Building Systems (Winter 2027). Class held in person, Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays 8:00- 9:00 AM
• Instruct students in person during designated class times
• Provide office consultations and student mentoring (approximately 2 hrs per week)
• Prepare course materials (lectures, homework, projects)
• Evaluate student work
• Write and administer exams.
• Adjunct faculty do not attend faculty meetings and are not required to participate in research or citizenship responsibilities.
