Job summary

Jackson State Community College invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor - Accounting (Pool). This position is responsible for delivering quality instruction using integrative technologies and supports a diverse student population.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field with at least eighteen (18) credit hours in graduate level Accounting from an accredited institution.
Collegiate level teaching experience is preferred.
Ability to deliver instruction using a variety of delivery modes and proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

Teach courses on ground, evenings, off-campus, and distance-based formats as required.
Post grades during the term and submit final grades by the Registrar’s deadlines.
Complete required trainings and reports; advise Chair/Dean if unable to teach; attend requested meetings.
Monitor JSCC email and departmental mailbox; respond within 48 hours, excluding weekends.
Submit or update class syllabi at least 2 weeks before start or within seven days of contract execution.
