Job summary

Moog Inc. in Buffalo, NY is seeking an Additive Manufacturing Technician to join our team. You will report to the Sr.

Project Engineer and operate laser powder bed fusion equipment on an onsite 1st shift, with work from East Aurora, NY as reference. The role requires 3+ years in a technical manufacturing setting, reading drawings and using precision measuring tools, with experience in additive manufacturing preferred.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred; vocational training is a plus.
3+ years of experience in a technical manufacturing environment.
Ability to understand English instructions and perform basic math.
Ability to read drawings, travelers, parts lists and document work.
Experience with precision measuring tools in controlled environments.
Strong attention to detail and safe daily prioritization.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor laser powder bed fusion equipment to produce builds per work orders.
Perform machine setup, powder loading, file execution and training activities.
Post-processing tasks including depowdering, cleaning, deburring, polishing per drawings.
Prepare parts for heat treatment and complete post-process cleaning steps.
Perform preventive maintenance and log maintenance on LPBF/EDM equipment.
Inspect parts and document nonconformances; support rework as needed.
Record production activity in MES or work order system.
Follow EHS procedures for powders, waste, and PPE.
