Job summary
Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory is seeking a Planner and Coordinator/Senior Planner and Coordinator for the Additive Manufacturing group in MED. You will manage additive manufacturing work orders, provide time and delivery estimates, and coordinate with multiple shops to meet production cycles from design to fabrication.
The role requires full-time on-site presence and offers opportunities to lead AM projects, develop new processes, and contribute to program objectives within the MED
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing technology or equivalent
- Experience in additive manufacturing workflows (L-PBF, SLS, FDM, SLA)
- Experience in machine shop and AM environment
- Experience with DoE statistical studies and ANOVA
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and direct activities for the additive manufacturing group across multiple facilities
- Utilize MES for data entry, part tracking, and workload planning
- Monitor project schedules and provide updates to stakeholders
- Provide technical direction to cross-disciplinary teams
- Prepare safety documentation aligned with ISM requirements
- Evaluate print outcomes and implement corrective actions
- Lead or contribute to development of new AM processes and parameter sets
