Job summary

Magnit Direct Source is hiring an Additive Manufacturing Technician for a 12-month contract in Georgetown, KY. The role supports additive manufacturing operations by coordinating parts, inventory, shipping, purchasing support, and customer follow-up.

You will track job requests from intake to completion, communicate outcomes, and ensure proper closure. On-site hours are 9 AM to 5 PM with collaborative teamwork across engineers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of admin/additive production experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
• Experience with SAP and Ariba for purchasing, receiving and invoicing.
• Some experience or strong interest in 3D Printing.
• Experience in administrative, operations, inventory, logistics, purchasing, or manufacturing support roles.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple requests and shipments.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory of additive manufacturing materials, consumables, spare parts, and finished components; maintain accurate records and support replenishment.
• Coordinate packing, labeling, documentation, and shipment of additive parts to internal and external recipients.
• Track additive job requests, confirm information and priorities, and maintain status records through lifecycle.
• Follow up after job completion to confirm receipt and document next steps.
• Provide SAP and Ariba support for purchase requisitions, orders, receipts, and invoices.
• Maintain organized digital and physical records for requests, shipments, and procurement documents.
• Support scheduling, meetings, reporting, and other administrative tasks for the AddLab team.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, suppliers, and internal customers to resolve issues promptly.
