Magnit Direct Source is seeking a Seibi Technician for a 12-month assignment in Georgetown, Kentucky. This temporary role requires hands-on measurement work with stamping dies and related tooling, using Hexagon/Faro and Polyworks. The ideal candidate has 2+ years experience or a degree and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Hexagon, Faro measurement arm or similar systems.
• Using Polyworks software with Blue light/ATOS/Faro operation experience.
• Proven skills to problem solve.
• Degree or min. 2yrs. experience.
• Troubleshoot and care for sensitive optical, mechanical/robotic equipment.
• Ability to set/develop standardized procedures to improve efficiency.
• Ability to apply technology to help clarify problems from engineering staff given minimal direction.
• Mechanical and digital aptitude to work through equipment operation issues using 3rd party technical support off-site.

Responsabilités

• Perform measurements of stamping dies and identify gaps to target.
• Measure stamping panels and sub-assemblies to assess quality for accuracy and formability.
• Conduct PxP and nominal fit vehicle analysis measurements.
• Analyze measurement data and advise on next steps to Stamping PE and D/M.
• Scan dies and mesh data for die repair and copy die preparation.
