Job summary

Penn United Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Additive Manufacturing Manager to lead our AM department, directing strategic implementation, operation, and scaling of AM capabilities.

You will oversee day-to-day 3D printing operations, drive process development, manage a technical team, and optimize production cost and quality. The role requires a Bachelor's in a technical field, 5+ years in AM, and 3+ years of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in additive manufacturing environments (polymer and/or metal).
• 3+ years direct supervisory or team leadership experience in a production or advanced engineering role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily AM operations and capacity planning across all AM systems.
• Maintain equipment uptime, preventive maintenance, calibration of printers and post-processing hardware.
• Develop SOPs and QC protocols for design, pre-processing, printing, and post-processing steps.
