Job summary

Hadrian seeks an operations and systems engineering leader to scale polymer additive manufacturing from standalone machines to fully integrated production systems. You will own AM production operations and the technical integration of AM machines into the OPUS platform, including connectivity, telemetry, and interlocks.

You will drive automation across AM cells, partner with OEMs, and lead commissioning, FAT/SAT, and qualification efforts to ensure repeatable, scalable production for aerospace

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5-7 years in polymer AM operations or similar.
• 3+ years of people leadership.
• Hands-on polymer AM equipment experience (powder bed fusion or extrusion).
• Experience with PA11/PA12 or similar materials in production.
• Experience integrating complex equipment with MES/SCADA and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Own polymer AM production operations: scheduling, throughput, yield, and on-time delivery.
• Lead end-to-end integration of polymer AM machines into OPUS, including connectivity and telemetry.
• Define system requirements, ICDs, and integration kits for multi-OEM setups.
• Drive automation across AM cells to improve utilization and safety.
• Collaborate with OEMs and suppliers to enable deeper integration (APIs, logging, remote operations).
• Develop FAT/SAT protocols and qualification plans with QA/Process teams.
• Establish reliability and maintenance programs for AM equipment.
• Provide leadership across machine operations, engineering, controls, and automation.
