GE Aerospace in West Chester is seeking a Manufacturing / Supply Chain Co‑op to contribute to the assembly of additive printers. You will learn modern manufacturing methods, support fixture design, and help drive quality and safety on the shop floor.

You will apply Lean and Six Sigma concepts to improve productivity, delivery, and process stability while collaborating with cross‑functional teams and suppliers. This internship offers hands‑on experience in state‑of‑the‑art additive technology.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, Computer Science or related STEM field.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale without rounding.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship; background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Learn state-of-the-art manufacturing methods and apply them to router/work instruction development.
• Support additive printer assembly and fixture/tooling design for manufacturing.
• Maintain quality through DFx findings, risk assessment and corrective actions.
• Promote safe work conditions and EHS improvements.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma to improve productivity and on-time delivery.
• Assist with supplier delivery tracking and KPI monitoring.
