Job summary

Memorial Health is seeking a healthcare professional to facilitate the delivery of addictions treatment and education services to patients of all ages in an on-site PRN role. This position supports continuity of care during staff absences and may require work on any weekday during day hours.

The role emphasizes education to professionals about Substance Abuse Disorders, uses evidence-based practices, and aligns with Memorial Health standards of safety, quality, integrity, and stewardship.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in clinical psychology, social work, counseling or related field.
• Licensed social worker (LSW) or licensed professional counselor (LPC) required.
• Must obtain LCSW/LCPC/LMFT licensure within two years of hire.
• Certified drug & alcohol counselor required within one year of hire.
• Working knowledge of addictions and their multi-faceted impact.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate delivery of addictions treatment and education services to patients of all ages.
• Provide education to professionals about Substance Abuse Disorders.
• Serve as an expert in Evidence Based Practice for Substance Abuse Disorders.
• Embodies Memorial Health System Performance Excellence Standards of Safety, Quality, Integrity and Stewardship.
