Job summary

KeyStone Center, part of Universal Health Services, in Chester, PA, seeks an Addictions Counselor to provide direct patient care for adults with substance use disorders. The site is five miles south of the Philadelphia Airport, offering convenient access for out-of-state treatment options.

You will support a safe therapeutic milieu, assess progress, deliver individual and group education, provide crisis intervention, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet treatment plan

Qualifications

• A Bachelor or Associates degree in a related mental health discipline from an accredited college
• High School Diploma or equivalent with experience in a chemical dependency and or mental health treatment setting

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and monitor and deliver high quality services to dully diagnosed/chemically dependent patients.
• Assessment and documentation of progress/digress in treatment; delivering individual and group educational services, crisis intervention and full participation with the multidisciplinary team toward meeting a patient's treatment plan objectives.

Education
