Job summary

KeyStone Center in Chester, PA, seeks an Addictions Counselor to deliver direct patient care within a dually diagnosed/chemically dependent population. The role emphasizes maintaining a safe, therapeutic milieu and documenting patient progress.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Associate degree in a related mental health discipline from an accredited college.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent with experience in a chemical dependency and/or mental health treatment setting.

KeyStone Center, located in Chester, Pennsylvania, offers substance use disorder and dual diagnosis treatment for adults. We are located five miles south of the Philadelphia Airport, making our facility an easy location to travel to and from, for out-of-state treatment options and visitors.

The Addictions Counselor provides direct patient care and is responsible for monitoring and delivering high quality services to dually diagnosed/chemically dependent patients. Primary responsibilities include the provision of a safe and-therapeutic milieu; assessment and documentation of progress/digress in treatment; delivering individual and group educational services, crisis intervention and full participation with the multidisciplinary team toward meeting a patient's treatment plan objectives.
