Job summary

Rosecrance Health Network in Rockford, IL seeks a dedicated counselor to oversee clients with addiction, providing daily individual, group, and educational counseling in a safe, therapeutic environment. Work with the Clinical Team to implement treatment plans, coordinate lectures for patients and families, monitor progress, and support recovery efforts toward lasting change.

This onsite role includes a $4,000 sign-on bonus, starting pay $18.43/hr (HS/GED), with two shifts (Thu–Fri 7am–3:30pm,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of addiction treatment experience or equivalent.
• Certified Addictions Counselor (CADC) or able to be certified within 24 months.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily individual, group, and educational counseling for clients.
• Coordinate treatment plans with the addiction counseling team.
• Deliver lectures to patients and families.
• Monitor client progress and document services.
• Ensure compliance with laws and Rosecrance policies.
• Help coordinate recreational activities and client engagement.
