Job summary

Mountain Springs Recovery is seeking a Certified Addiction Specialist to assess and monitor clients in treatment for substance use. The counselor collaborates with the Clinical Director and Supervisor to provide case management, facilitate group therapy, manage crises, plan AOD treatment, and complete discharge planning.

Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, documenting in the EMR, coordinating referrals, and supporting clients with FMLA/STD matters.

Qualifications

Valid CAS in Colorado.
Current CPR and First Aid Certification or willing to obtain.
Must successfully complete Background Check, Drug Screen, and TB Test

Responsibilities

Assess and monitor client behavior in treatment; collaborate with Clinical Director and Supervisor.
Develop, review, and implement AOD treatment plans with clients and families.
Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions; document processes in the EMR.
Provide discharge planning with clients and families; complete timely documentation.
Conduct referrals and connect clients with recovery resources with the treatment team.
Support case management including FMLA/STD matters and forward appropriately.
Participate in team consultations and trainings; respond to emergencies as needed.
Attend staff meetings and ongoing trainings to maintain care standards.
