Job summary

Socket.dev in Colorado seeks a Certified Addiction Specialist to assess and monitor clients in treatment for substance use, collaborating with the Clinical Director to coordinate care. You will develop treatment plans, lead individual and group therapy sessions, manage crises, document progress in the EMR, and assist with discharge planning and referrals to support recovery.

Qualifications

Valid CAS in the state of Colorado.
Current CPR and First Aid Certification or willing to obtain.
Must successfully complete Background Check, Drug Screen, and TB Test.

Responsibilities

Develop, review, and implement AOD treatment plans and goals with clients and families.
Initiate and facilitate individual and group therapy sessions and document processes in the EMR.
Provide referrals and resources to support recovery while collaborating with the Therapist.
Develop and implement discharge planning with clients and families.
Record client health information in the EMR and maintain timely documentation.
Support case management services including FMLA/STD matters and process submissions.
Participate in consultation with other care team members and treatment professionals.
Respond to emergencies and take appropriate action.
Attend staff meetings and monthly trainings.
