Job summary

The role includes group, individual and family therapy, multidisciplinary collaboration, and coordination of comprehensive treatment plans to support ongoing recovery after discharge.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling required and licensure as MHC/LMHC/LMSW/LCSW/LPC or Psy.D./Ph.D. in Psychology.
• One to three years of experience in behavioral healthcare or substance abuse settings serving culturally diverse populations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with multitasking.
• Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills.
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects under pressure.
• Strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of diverse cultures and gender-specific issues.
• Maintains confidentiality with patients, residents and families.
• Exhibits excellent customer relation skills.
• Knowledge of case management for dual diagnosis patient.

Responsibilities

• Gather biopsychosocial data and assess readiness for treatment.
• Develop treatment plans with clients and families.
• Review and recommend treatment options with families.
• Guide clients in developing adaptive skills for recovery.
• Identify triggers and strategies for recovery.
• Educate families about addiction and related disorders.
• Provide family therapy to support recovery.
• Identify needs and refer to supports (education, job placement, case management).
• Develop comprehensive aftercare plans and continued care options.
• Facilitate group, individual and family therapy sessions.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary case presentations and discussions.
