Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling required and licensure as a MHC, LMHC, LMSW, LCSW, LPC or Psy.D./Ph.D. in Psychology.
• 1–3 years of experience in behavioral healthcare or substance abuse settings serving culturally diverse populations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Gather biopsychosocial data and assess readiness for treatment.
• Collaborate with clients to identify goals and develop treatment plans.
• Review and discuss treatment options with clients and families.
• Guide clients in developing adaptive skills for recovery.
• Identify behavior triggers and address them with targeted strategies.
• Educate families about addiction and related disorders.
• Provide family therapy to support communication and boundaries.
• Refer and coordinate with supports like job placement, education, and case management.
• Develop comprehensive recovery plans and continuing care options.
• Facilitate group, individual, and family therapy sessions.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary case presentations and discussions.
