Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare in Agawam, MA is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (Addiction Medicine) to support adult Substance Use Disorder treatment across residential and detox levels of care. You will collaborate with nursing, psychiatry, and primary care to help clients reclaim health and independence.

Compensation details reflect $155,000+ annually with full benefits; MA licensure and post‑graduate experience in addiction medicine are required or closely related fields. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must hold MA license as NP (CRNP) or PA with national certification in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years post-graduate experience in Addiction Medicine or related clinical setting.
• Experience collaborating in multidisciplinary teams in residential/detox environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive H&Ps and medical evaluations; review labs and monitor therapeutic levels.
• Manage acute issues and sick calls; develop discharge and transition plans.
• Provide medical support for adult residential and detox programs; coordinate with psychiatry and PCPs.
• Optimize post-discharge medications; assist with prior authorizations and cost containment.
• Document accurately in the EHR; uphold quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to program improvements.
• Evaluate and manage MAT (e.g., buprenorphine) per credentialing and state regulations when applicable.
