Job summary

Healing Rock Recovery in Billings, Montana is seeking an Addiction Counselor in training toward LAC to join our clinical team. This full-time role offers supervision toward licensure, day shift, and the chance to work closely with adults on their recovery journey.

With support from licensed clinicians, you will lead individual and group counseling, help create recovery plans, and connect clients with community resources while maintaining confidential records and culturally responsive care.

Qualifications

• Montana LAC Candidate actively working toward Licensed Addiction Counselor credential.
• Degree in addiction studies, psychology, social work, counseling, human services, or related field.
• Experience in a substance use or behavioral health setting is a plus; early-career counselors are encouraged to apply.
• Compassionate, dependable, team-oriented approach and a heart for recovery work.
• Comfort providing care in a faith-informed, culturally responsive environment.
• Availability for an on-site, daytime schedule in Billings, Montana.

At Healing Rock Recovery in Billings, Montana, we help adults find their footing again after substance use and mental health struggles. We offer a full continuum of care that includes residential, day treatment, intensive outpatient, and outpatient counseling, all grounded in compassionate, faith-anchored, and trauma-informed support. The Role

This is an LAC Candidate role, a real opportunity to earn your supervised hours and grow into a fully Licensed Addiction Counselor. We're looking for a full-time counselor working toward their LAC to join our clinical team and walk alongside clients on their recovery journey. With the support and supervision of our licensed clinicians, you'll lead individual and group counseling, help build recovery plans, and be a steady, encouraging presence for people doing some of the hardest work of their lives. • A compassionate, dependable, team-oriented approach and a heart for recovery work.

Schedule & Pay

Full-time, day shift (Monday-Friday). $27- $29 per hour, based on your experience and education.
