Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health & Concerted Care Group (CCG) in Elkton, MD seeks Addiction Counselors to support IOP programs and co-occurring needs. You’ll build treatment alliances, lead groups, and deliver education while working with an interdisciplinary team.

You will have a Maryland credential (ADT, CSC-AD, or CAC-AD) and at least 2 years in the SUD field, with opportunities for supervision, growth, and comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• Active Maryland credential: ADT, CSC-AD, or CAC-AD (required)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the SUD field (group treatment a plus)
• Strong clinical, verbal, and written communication skills
• Comfort working within an electronic medical record system
• Familiarity with recovery modalities: 12-Step, SMART Recovery, Women for Sobriety, Recovery Dharma, Harm Reduction, etc.

Responsabilidades

• Build collaborative, individualized treatment alliances that adapt to each patient’s changing needs
• Facilitate addiction treatment groups at the IOP level of care
• Design and deliver addiction/recovery education presentations
• Lead case management sessions including assessments, goal-setting, and discharge planning
• Coordinate care with referral sources, family members, and other providers
• Collaborate with the treatment team to address co-occurring psychiatric needs
• Apply Motivational Interviewing, CBT, and trauma-informed approaches in daily practice
• Complete evaluations using DSM-V and ASAM criteria
• Maintain timely documentation that meets state and CARF standards
• Rotate on-call coverage for patients in crisis outside business hours
• Provide energy and a teaching spirit to recovery education, inside and outside sessions

Conocimientos

AD T / CSC-AD / CAC-AD credential

SUD counseling experience

Strong communication skills
