Schedule: 1st Shift, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday

As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will assist with intake and transportation for adult clients, answer questions, and help clients adapt to the program routine. You will observe and report any physical or mental health changes to medical staff, ensuring client safety and wellbeing.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED
• 1+ years experience in Substance Use Disorders, Recovery, or Mental Health Field (or relevant college coursework) - preferred
• Ability and desire to keep patients safe at all times
• Professional demeanor and strong work ethic

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain healthy relationships with patients
• Assist with admissions and orientation procedures
• Maintain clear communication during patient admit
• Complete shift reports and checklists
• Facilitate patient orientation groups
• De-escalate situations and assist with patients leaving treatment AMA/ACA
• Monitor patient locations and family visits for safety
• Assist with medication pass monitoring (if applicable)
• Maintain cleanliness of properties and office spaces
• Participate in staff meetings and trainings
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Exercise sound professional judgment and protect patient privacy
