IQ Resource Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Advanced Maintenance Technician for our client in Darien, WI. You will troubleshoot and repair industrial manufacturing equipment to keep production running smoothly on a straight 1st shift.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years of maintenance experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and hands-on skills with gearbox rebuilds, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and 480V motor controls/Allen-Bradley PLCs. Background check required.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with gearbox rebuilds, bearing, shaft, and gear replacement.
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Welding and fabrication skills.
• Proficiency with 480V motor controls and Allen-Bradley PLC systems.
• Background check and reliable transportation.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Responsibilities

Advanced Maintenance Technician

Location: Darien, WI (Walworth/Rock County)
Pay: Up to $38/hour (higher pay may be available for candidates with strong PLC, mechanical, and leadership experience)
Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00am-3:30pm but must have flexibility

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial manufacturing equipment
• Perform gearbox rebuilds and replace bearings, shafts, and gears
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Complete welding and fabrication projects as needed
• Troubleshoot 480V motor controls and Allen-Bradley PLC systems

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in:

• Solid troubleshooting skills with 480V motor controls and Allen-Bradley PLCs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with extrusion equipment (film, sheet, tube, or plastics converting)
• Leadership, training, or mentoring experience
• Bilingual Spanish/English skills
