Job summary

Honda is seeking an ADAS test engineer to advance driving assistance and vehicle dynamics control toward electrification and safety goals. You will work under senior staff to gain experience while contributing to verification on bench and in vehicles.

Responsibilities include testing, calibration, and documentation for multiple functions and collaborating across global teams to meet milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering related to vehicle systems.
• Co-op/intern experience preferred.
• Familiarity with requirements management and CAN structures.
• Experience with functional safety (ISO 26262) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Verify ADAS control system software functions via simulation bench and proving grounds.
• Calibrate/validate ADAS software through testing and documentation reviews.
• Support verification test results and communicate findings to leadership.
• Assist with integration of software functions into vehicles.
• Collaborate across multiple schedules (Japan R&D and other groups) to meet milestones.
• Develop expertise through training and external accreditations.
