Job summary

American Honda Motor Company, Inc. is seeking an experienced ADAS software engineer to develop and validate longitudinal control and related vehicle systems. You will work closely with global engineering teams to align software requirements, tuning, and validation across platforms.

The role requires hands-on testing, diagnostics, and documentation, with a focus on high-quality, reliable ADAS technologies. Onsite work with potential occasional remote days and domestic travel will apply.

Qualifications

Requires a college-level Bachelors degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Mechanical / Automotive Engineering or related STEM field.
Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in-vehicle software development and testing.
Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics, brake control and powertrain systems; experience tuning vehicle control software.

Responsibilities

Develop and validate ADAS functions, including longitudinal control software.
Coordinate with CAN interfaces, diagnostics, and safety-related features.
Prepare technical documents and root cause analyses for testing outcomes.
Collaborate with international teams to align development and validation activities.
