Job summary

American Honda Motor Company, Inc. is seeking a VCAP ADAS test engineer to develop and validate driving assistance and vehicle dynamics control features for North American light-duty markets. You will work under senior guidance to build knowledge and contribute autonomously as you gain experience.

The role involves bench and proving-ground testing, collaboration with Technical Experts, and stakeholder reviews, with occasional travel. On-site work with potential remote day once per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
• Co-op/intern experience preferred.
• Knowledge of CAN structures and requirements management.
• Familiarity with ISO 26262 functional safety.

Responsibilities

• Verify ADAS software functions on bench and vehicle proving grounds.
• Prepare verification test documentation for assigned functions and present findings.
• Manage one or more ADAS-related functions across development milestones.
• Assist integration and validation of software into vehicles.
• Pursue ongoing education and professional accreditations to improve performance.
