Job summary

Toyota's Integrated Vehicle Systems (IVS) Department seeks an ADAS Engineer to manage, develop, and evaluate next‑generation ADAS features for production readiness. You will collaborate with global teams, including Japan, to research and bring to market innovative ADAS technologies.

The role requires hands-on development, scheduling from concept to SOP, and strong communication skills to coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders across international teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
  • 5+ years leading or collaborating on large-scale ADAS development.
  • Experience with Vehicle ECU and CAN/CAN-FD in-vehicle communication.
  • Experience with quality tools such as DFMEA, DRBFM, FTA.
  • Experience with ADAS features like AEB, ACC, LKAS, PKSB, BSM, PVM, BGM.
  • Proficient in Python/C++ for ADAS development.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Plan structure of parts and systems through target setting and interface definitions.
  • Develop and evaluate ADAS features through projects and milestones.
  • Create and maintain part development schedules from development to SOP and coordinate with suppliers.
  • Collaborate with global engineering teams and suppliers to meet targets (cost, mass, quality).
  • Support and develop ADAS system integration and testing across platforms and vehicles.
