Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or CS field.
  • 5+ years of ADAS development experience from concept to production.
  • Experience with automotive ECU-based systems.
  • Knowledge of CAN, CAN-FD, and vehicle electrical architecture.
  • Experience with DFMEA/DRBFM/FTA quality tools.
  • Proven ability to develop ADAS features (AEB, ACC, LKAS, BSM, PKSB, PVM).
  • Experience root cause analysis and issue resolution.
  • Python or C++ programming experience.
  • Ability to integrate software with hardware and perform HIL/MIL and model-based simulation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development of next-generation ADAS components and systems through full product lifecycle.
  • Manage ADAS parts: electrical interfaces, packaging, specs, and system parameters.
  • Create and maintain development schedules through SOP.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to meet milestones.
  • Support development of ADAS features (AEB, ACC, LKAS, BSM, PKSB, PVM).
  • Analyze vehicle CAN/CAN-FD communications and validate system performance.
  • Perform vehicle integration, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis for hardware/software issues.
  • Support HIL, MIL, and virtual simulation testing.
  • Collaborate with Toyota engineering teams in NA and Japan.
  • Participate in vehicle evaluations, testing events, and manufacturing support.
  • Present technical information to engineering leadership and executives.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the development of next-generation ADAS components and systems throughout the full product lifecycle.
  • Develop and manage ADAS parts including electrical interfaces, packaging, specifications, and system parameters.
  • Create and maintain development schedules through Start of Production (SOP).
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal engineering teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Support development of ADAS features including:
  • Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB)
  • Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
  • Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS)
  • Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM)
  • Parking Support Brake (PKSB)
  • Panoramic View Monitor (PVM)
  • Cameras and related sensing technologies
  • Analyze vehicle CAN/CAN-FD communication and validate system performance.
  • Perform vehicle integration, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for hardware and software issues.
  • Support HIL, MIL, and virtual simulation testing.
  • Work closely with Toyota engineering teams in North America and Japan.
  • Participate in vehicle evaluations, testing events, and manufacturing support activities.
  • Present technical information to engineering leadership and executive management.
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of ADAS development experience from concept through production.
  • Experience developing automotive ECU-based systems.
  • Strong understanding of:
  • CAN
  • CAN-FD
  • Vehicle electrical architecture
  • Experience with automotive quality tools:
  • DFMEA
  • DRBFM
  • FTA
  • Experience developing one or more ADAS features such as:
  • AEB
  • ACC
  • LKAS
  • BSM
  • PKSB
  • PVM
  • Experience reviewing supplier requirements and test specifications.
  • Root cause analysis and issue resolution experience.
  • Python and/or C++ programming experience.
  • Experience integrating software with hardware platforms.
  • Experience performing:
  • HIL testing
  • MIL testing
  • Model-based simulation
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with Toyota or other automotive OEMs.
  • Experience with global engineering teams.
  • Knowledge of automotive functional safety processes.
  • Experience presenting technical information to executive leadership.
  • Strong supplier management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
