Job summary

AirPro Diagnostics/Nationwide Parts is hiring an In-Shop Automotive Technician to support diagnostic pre-scans and ADAS calibration in a body shop environment. Training is provided, and the role requires collaborating with body shop staff to ensure proper scanning and calibration of vehicles involved in collisions.

Candidates should have basic computer skills, be comfortable in Windows, and possess a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Applicants must have basic computer skills and be comfortable working in a Windows computer environment.
• Must have experience working in team environments and collaborating with front-end staff.
• Valid insurable driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles and initiate all diagnostics scans using the AirPro scan tool.
• Coordinate with body shop front-end personnel to ensure vehicles are scanned and calibrated as required by OEM.
• Set up targets to calibrate ADAS systems per manufacturer requirements.
• Test drive or move customer vehicles as needed.
• Assist with checking fuses and electrical connectors affecting scan process; not responsible for body repairs.
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques via e-learning or training sessions.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety and environmental rules.
• Perform visual inspections and report hidden damages to the shop.
• Support the team and perform other duties as assigned by management.
