Job summary

Repairify, Inc. is seeking a Field Technician based in an automotive repair shop to perform diagnostic scans and calibrations, including virtual diagnostics. You will consult with shops and promote Repairify solutions related to diagnostics and calibrations.

The role requires hands-on calibration across ADAS, use of OEM and aftermarket tools, and clear communication of technical findings to non-experts. Some travel within the region is expected.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of car dealership experience or aftermarket repair facility experience as an automotive technician.
• OEM and/or aftermarket scan tool experience and knowledge.
• General knowledge in identification of faults, error messages and modules.
• Automotive mechanical and electrical diagnosis, problem-solving and repair experience.
• Understanding of automotive industry acronyms and lingo.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary client contact as needed within the service process.
• Promote the necessity for diagnostics and calibrations at assigned shop.
• Perform precise calibrations for ADAS across most makes and models.
• Utilize OEM and diagnostic equipment to inform repair and calibration decisions.
• Document pre/post calibration data and prepare customer reports.
• Explain technical diagnoses to non-mechanical individuals.
• Collaborate with technicians to perform diagnostic test plans.
• Adhere to company policies, safety and environmental rules.
