Job summary

LER Product Design, LLC in Columbus, Indiana seeks an ADAS/ADS Evaluation Engineer to assess current and future driver-assistance and automated driving systems across Columbus and other U.S. worksites.

The role includes hands-on vehicle testing, data gathering, and collaboration with suppliers. You will configure test vehicles, sensors, and data acquisition gear, analyze results, and support the tuning of ADAS features such as AEB, CIB, and ACC for North American roads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, automotive systems engineering, or related field.
• Two years of experience in a vehicle validation engineering position.
• Experience with CANalyzer, Vbox, Panel 4; ADAS software validation; HIL-based testing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate current and future ADAS/ADS to ensure performance requirements.
• Prepare vehicles, sensors, and data acquisition systems for evaluation drives.
• Analyze collected data to support performance improvements.
• Configure and troubleshoot test vehicles and data systems.
• Communicate performance issues to suppliers and propose countermeasures.
• Perform data gathering on public roads and proving grounds.
