Job summary

Aqua-Tots Swim School is seeking a part-time SNAP instructor to provide individualized swim instruction to students in the SNAP program. The role emphasizes water safety, skill development, and confidence building in a supportive and adaptive environment.

Training will be provided to tailor Aqua-Tots curriculum to each child’s needs. Ideal candidates include paraprofessionals or educators with experience working with children with disabilities, available 5–10 hours weekly including weekend

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with disabilities or in educational/therapeutic settings.
• Ability to provide positive reinforcement and adapt teaching styles.
• Willingness to train and follow established safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide swim instruction exclusively to SNAP students.
• Adapt lessons to each child's needs and learning style.
• Maintain a safe, structured, inclusive environment.
• Communicate progress with parents and guardians.
